About Sandpiper Ocean Cottages

Sandpiper Ocean Cottages are ideally located just 8km north of Bicheno on the East Coast of Tasmania. It is a 30-minute drive to Freycinet National Park & the iconic Wineglass Bay, while The Bay of Fires is only an hour to the north. Set on 4 acres of natural coastal gardens, each cottage is private and spacious. A short stroll through the dunes and you find yourself on spectacular Denison Beach, where you can walk barefoot for miles on the pristine white sands, swim safely or fish from the beach. The only sounds you'll hear are the waves, the birds & the squeak of the sand as you walk. All our cottages are fully self-contained, with complete kitchen & laundry facilities, roomy lounge & dining areas, wood fires (except Hanalei) & covered rear decks with gas barbecues.
